BA Textile Design presents the work of our graduating class of 2022, a creative and unique group who have worked with tenacity and diligence to overcome and succeed while studying through a pandemic.

Textiles at WSA, University of Southampton, offers students a vibrant and nurturing studio environment to develop as authentic, individual designers. This show demonstrates the individuality and creativity of our students, approaching and successfully realising projects around textiles for fashion, interiors and communication, using a range of innovative processes across the pathways.

Weave graduates have taken advantage of a range of materials and processes on hand and the digital looms including the TC2; to take us on haptic and visual journeys through nostalgia and how dyscalculia can be represented and has powerful parallels in rebellions.
